Technical Information Regarding

TRACKER 2000®

We are glad you are here!

TRACKER 2000® was designed to put the SYSTEM OWNER, not the SYSTEM, in control of the environment !!

TRACKER 2000® is written in COBOL II and is designed to run in an IBM mainframe environment using CICS.

TRACKER 2000® uses both on-line and off- line functions.

Collection activities, notes, etc. are recorded online, real time through use of client defined procedures that reflect the philosophies and policies of your environment. Data will also be updated through programmatic functions (application of Control File parameters, calculation of days past due, etc.) during the daily batch cycle.

The Control file contains user-defined codes and operating parameters. This file eliminates the need for hard coded parameters in programs.

TRACKER 2000® takes advantage of universal function key definitions in compliance with IBM's SAA, or Systems Application Architecture standard.

TRACKER 2000® data is carried in VSAM files.

The Control File holds all of the procedural definitions. This minimizes the need for programming changes when policy, regulations, or procedures are altered as a result of acquisitions, mergers, or regulatory updates.
The Control File may be updated through online entry and maintenance of the parameters. This is, of course, a highly secure function. The only programmatic update of the Control File is maintenance of the application date.

The Account file carries the information related to each collection item. The fields displayed to the collectors are user defined. This insures the collectors will be provided adequate information to facilitate maximum account recovery. The flexibility of this function allows management to determine, and provide to collection personnel, the information relevent for the type of account being pursued.

The History file records all of the collection activity associated with each account.

TRACKER 2000® is designed with a multi-level hierarchical structure. This design allows management to assign procedures, monitor productivity, and secure reporting at any hierarchical level. This capability makes it possible to define the way individual offices do business; and/or, how individual groups of accounts will be worked; and/or, what the system will look like for each environment.
